Thank you for your interest in doing business with the Housing Authority of Covington (HAC). Established in 1937, the Housing Authority of Covington provides affordable housing opportunities for low and moderate-income persons, fosters family self-sufficiency, and plays a significant role in redevelopment activities in the City of Covington. With funding provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Housing Authority of Covington manages approximately 490 rental housing units, which include public housing, low income tax credits, housing choice vouchers and market rate rentals scattered throughout the City of Covington.
HAC is headed by a Executive Director and is governed by a five-person board of commissioners and is subject to the requirements of Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations (2 CFR Part 200) and HAC’s procurement policy. HAC conducts various methods of procurement in its day to day operations as is defined in the HUD Procurement Handbook 7460.8 REV 2.
