The Housing Authority of Covington would like to congratulate Lamarck Carter for winning the Mayor’s Winter Reading Challenge sponsored by Read Ready Covington.

Lamarck accepted the challenge to use the Footsteps2Brilliance app to improve his reading skills during November 16^th – December 31, 2020. During this time, he spent nearly 45 hours reading 200 books. 

Lamarck is in the 1^st grade and attends Latonia Elementary School.  He read the most books and completed the most activities during the challenge was awarded $500.00 and a gift basket of books, games, and goodies for him and his family.
