The Resident Services Department provides leadership and program support for HAC programs. The Department is funded through both federal and private grants. Federal funds are primarily channeled through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to the Housing Authority of Covington.
Mission
The mission of the Resident Services Department is to break the cycle of generational poverty and foster economic self-sufficiency among residents living and/or being served by HAC programs.
Objectives
The objectives of the Resident Services Department are to provide a vast array of quality programming, as well as resources, to low income families to address the barriers to economic self-sufficiency. Our programs accomplish this through:
